Company Profile
Joe Evans founded Joseph R. Evans & Associates in Dalton, Georgia in 1981. Prior to that, Joe earned degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Construction from Southern Technical Institute (now SPSU). Prior to opening his own business, Joe earned his Land Surveying licenses in both Georgia and Tennessee while working for Alabama Power Company and engineering firms in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Over the years, Joseph R. Evans & Associates became a reputable land surveying firm in the region, specializing in boundary surveys, boundary disputes, and construction layout. In 2012, the firm merged with Chastain & Associates, P.C. to form Evans, Chastain & Associates which is a registered trade name in Whitfield County. With fellow Southern Tech alumni Jeff Vick, Joe and the firm continue the tradition of "getting it right" regardless of the effort involved or the expertise required.
