Commercial Site Plans

Commercial site plans are almost always required for non-residential construction in most cities and counties. The requirements for these plans can vary widely. It is very important for the builder or developer to carefully select the firm that prepares the plan. A quick and cheap plan can often result in unnecessary construction costs that often are not detected. Chastain & Associates, P.C. recognizes that we are your advocate and portal with both the project budget and the permit issuing authority. We feel that it is our professional and fiduciary responsibility to minimize costs. We also recognize that timing can be very important. Deadlines can often fall at seemingly odd times, and missing them can mean delays of weeks or even months.

Chastain & Associates, P.C. has planned several commercial sites. It is most important that the structure designer (usually an architect or builder) meet with the site planner in order to understand the desired outcome of traffic flow, visibility, and any loading docks or other building features that have special grading or drainage requirements. Often we may need to produce one or more alternate plans to present different options regarding traffic flow, drainage expenses, etc.

He holds a valid Georgia Residential/Light Construction Contractor's license and knows how things are supposed to fit on the ground, not just on paper.
